Senselet Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to strengthening the Ethiopian society in the Netherlands while promoting cooperation, cultural identity, social inclusion, and humanitarian support.
The word “Senselet” (ሰንሰለት) means “chain” in Amharic—a symbol of connection, unity, and mutual support. It reflects our belief that communities become stronger when people work together.
We provide opportunities for Ethiopians of all ages to connect, celebrate their heritage, exchange experiences, and actively participate in Dutch society. At the same time, we contribute to humanitarian and community development projects in Ethiopia.

What We Do
Our Activities
At Senselet Foundation, we organize activities that strengthen communities, celebrate diversity, and create opportunities for people to connect and grow.
Community Building
We organize gatherings and networking events that bring Ethiopians together and strengthen social connections.
Cultural Events
We celebrate Ethiopian traditions through cultural festivals, food, exhibitions on Ethiopian cultural diversity and educational activities that help preserve our heritage for future generations.
Integration Support
We assist Ethiopians living in the Netherlands by encouraging participation in society, sharing information, promoting social inclusion, and building bridges with local communities.
Youth and Family Programs
We organize educational, cultural, and recreational activities that inspire young people to embrace both their Ethiopian heritage and their place in Dutch society.
Humanitarian Support
We support charitable and community development initiatives in Ethiopia, focusing on education, social welfare, and improving the well-being of vulnerable communities.
Partnerships
